okay before i start i will listen to the choir teachers and send out the following message:

HURRY AND GET YOUR TICKETS FOR BEL CANTO THE RGS CHOIR CONCERT! ONLY 163 TICKETS LEFT! 11TH MAY AT THE ANGLO-CHINESE SCHOOL (BARKER) ARTS CENTRE! ONLY 15 AND 18 DOLLARS TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE!

oh dear that constitutes shouting but still shouting is not as rude as cursing, is it?

ahh. that whole pile of homework. i don't know why, but i just don't feel like touching it at all. i took 1 whole hour just to finish my chinese worksheet because half the time my mind was wandering off. this is so irritating...i'm just not in the mood to finish homework and it's kind of stressful knowing that you have this whole stack of stuff to be finished and yet you are still slacking. contradictory?

maybe i spend too much time thinking about what i'm going to do during sec3. but it's just all so nice to plan for the future where everything is still so indefinite and flexible, where everything is up to you to change and twist and turn. currently after a few hours (gosh!) of thinking (talk about inefficiency), i still can't think of a proper subject combination. mep people are like compelled to take mep all the way until sec4 (don't think of me taking music for a levels) so that means i can only choose 4 subjects (maximum 5 but since mep takes up 1 out of 5 i can only choose 4 right?). so right now i'm torn between doing triple science and a single humanities subject or double-double (that's what i call it). it's like everyone's doing triple science and they always say that people doing triple science are the smartest people.

but has anyone thought about the double-double subject combination? in fact, i think the people who take double-double are those that are actually really smart (no offence to those who take triple science, but this is my opinion), because they can balance science and arts subjects well. they do well in both areas! and anyway i never exactly enjoyed physics so i was thinking of doing chemistry, biology, geography, history and mep (and math and philosophy and all those compulsory subjects). okay fine. either history or literature. but geography is a must unless i come to dislike it in the second part of sec1 or in sec2. literature is fun but i don't like the idea of tearing a story into pieces for analysis. i love don't mind annotating poems but it's no-no if you want me to annotate prose pieces. history is currently quite dry but then in sec3 and 4 you get fun topics like medical, scientific and political history!

then i look at the thick fat physics books i have and the dollars that my dad has spent on them and i go, oh no i can't just throw all the money in the drain! so then maybe i should drop mep and take triple science and double humanities! (okay i must be a maniac.) but it's like mep is (sometimes super) easy to score!

and then bring 3rd language into the picture. brilliant. if i take mep and do double-double or triple-single (i don't care that's what i'm goign to call it) then i won't exactly have time to do japanese, because mep is on wednesdays from 2:30 to 5:30 and choir is 3 days so i only have 1 day for japanese when the lessons are on 2 days! okay i can study online but still it's not as good as having a live teacher teach you. fine then i'll drop mep and take triple-double, but who knows if the exact same scenario repeats itself?

someone tell me what to do!

right now, i'll just stop fussing over. there's still 1 3/4 more years to go. and by the end of sec2 my preferences might have changed. and who knows, i might do so badly in all my sciences that i decide to take triple humanities instead. hopefully that day doesn't come because i so badly want to be a doctor/biostatistician or something like that.

i bet that in sec3 when i come back and read this post i will fall off my chair in spasmodic fits of laughter over my nonsensical thoughts.

composed; 10:51 PM :D

lives, writes, sings, plays the piano, and attempts to sound intellectual at times (conclusion: fails rather miserably).

loves music (almost strictly classical, hurhur & inclusive of faziolis!), literature (& also the sciences - no they are not in conflict), making hopelessly lame puns, laughter, white/milk chocolate, cheesecake, the world & the people in it. list not exhaustive, by the way.

wants the world to be filled with peace, joy and love, and also wants (perhaps a little more selfishly) to be happy, plus lead a life of purpose. that would be more than enough. (:

oh, and she likes embarking on her own 'free hugs!' campaigns after exams and the like; not really sure why. D: (at any rate, you can tell that she's random enough.)

loves you!♥

very plain, she knows; but this is probably herself in its entirety - nothing more than a compilation of perhaps-boring-to-you little things (and the occasional Important Event), but also nothing less than all the brilliant memories which constitutes her life, and perhaps yours.

also interpreted as an inability to express with other things but words (nothing more, nothing less!), although even words sometimes won't do enough. but she does like orange.

v2.0 (230208): maybe solid grey isn't that fantastic after all. but wordy is good, all the same. she's weird, she knows.

ver. i-pretend-that-it-is-3.0-when-i-know-it-is-not (070608): i am boring, take that. (:

v4.0 (200908): got bored, so cut down on the quasi-fanciful stuff even more. perfectly plain now, though somehow the background still doesn't work on safari / google chrome. ):
